21st century Pedagogy: We need a new DNA. This is a rather nice video that just states the fundamental gap. A new world needs a new way of teaching the digital learner.

The Purpose of this Endeavor

The world is changing faster than we can comprehend. Everyone struggles to understand, cope with, adapt to the steady stream of new information and new technology. We struggle as individuals and we struggle as organizations to keep up and stay abreast. The goal of Professional Learning Conversations is to explore the connection between the changes in the world to our lives as adults (world citizens), to our roles as parents, to our roles as teachers. We intend to center our discussions around two critical questions:

How can I better understand the world and the skills my students will need to be successful in it?

How am I living the mission to educate my students for their future, not my past?
